چکیده

Abstract It can be known from a large number of research results that improving the dispersibility CNTs effectively optimize mechanical properties corresponding metal matrix composites. However, crucial issue increasing bonding and is still unsolved. In this paper, novel method was developed to increase interfacial strength by coating titanium oxide (TiO 2 ) on surface CNTs. The rare earth Pr TiO2@CNTs-reinforced AZ91matrix composites were successfully fabricated powder metallurgy. Hot press sintering hot extrusion milled performed. After extrusion, influence TiO @CNTs microstructure investigated. showed process improve distribution in Mg alloy. refined grains matrix, presented throughout direction. When content 1.0 wt.%, yield (YS), ultimate tensile (UTS), elongation alloy attained maximum values. values improved 23.5%, 82.1%, 40.0%, respectively, when compared with AZ91 Good achieved, which resulted an effective loading transfer at interface. carried stress observed fracture.
